Privacy Policy - Road Rascals
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Edward Luis Requilman ("we", "us") handles information in connection
with the mobile game Road Rascals (the "Game"). By playing the Game you agree to this policy.
Contact: contact@edwardluisrequilman.com. Effective date: 2026-08-18.
Information we collect
We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, or contacts.
The Game collects only what it needs to run, save progress, rank scores, and (optionally) show rewarded ads
and process purchases:
- Anonymous player identifier - via Unity Authentication, an anonymous ID is created to save your
progress and place your scores on leaderboards. It is not tied to your real-world identity.
- Game progress & settings - your unlocks, currency, upgrades, and options are stored on your device and
(via Unity Cloud Save) associated with your anonymous player ID so they survive reinstalling.
- Leaderboard data - your score, distance, and anonymous player ID are submitted to leaderboards.
- Purchase records - if you buy coins or gems, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive
a confirmation that a purchase completed; we do not receive or store your card or payment details.
- Advertising data (if ads are enabled) - to show optional rewarded ads, our ad partner (Unity LevelPlay
/ ironSource and the ad networks it mediates) may access your device's advertising identifier
(IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android) and coarse device/usage data to select and measure ads.
You choose whether to watch each ad; ads are always optional and rewarded.
- Diagnostics - if the Game crashes or errors, we may record a diagnostic log (error message, stack
trace, device model, OS version, app version) to fix bugs. This contains no personal identity data.
How we use information
To operate and save the Game, rank scores, deliver optional rewarded ads, complete purchases you initiate,
and diagnose crashes and bugs. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The Game uses these services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Cloud Save, Leaderboards, diagnostics) - Unity Technologies.
https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
- Unity LevelPlay / ironSource (rewarded ads mediation, if ads are enabled) and the ad networks it
mediates (e.g. Unity Ads, AppLovin, Google AdMob, and other networks enabled in LevelPlay mediation). https://www.is.com/privacy-policy/
- Apple App Store / Google Play Billing (purchases). See Apple and Google privacy policies.
Advertising & your choices
Ads are optional and rewarded - you choose to watch them. You can limit ad personalization at the OS level:
on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (App Tracking Transparency), on Android via Settings >
Google > Ads. Road Rascals is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13, so ads are served in standard (non-child-directed) mode.
Children's privacy
The Game is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent
in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a
child has provided us personal information, contact contact@edwardluisrequilman.com and we will delete it.
Data retention & your rights
Progress/leaderboard data tied to your anonymous ID is retained while the Game is supported. Depending on
your region (e.g. GDPR/EEA, UK, CCPA/California), you may have rights to access or delete your data. To
request deletion of the data associated with your anonymous player ID, contact contact@edwardluisrequilman.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
